I just upgraded my forum to 1.1 RC2.  I downloaded the upgrade package, copied everything over and ran upgrade.php.  When I click on my forum now, I get a huge blank page with a bunch of red X's and a huge error that says

Sorry, the copyright must be in the template.
Please notify this forum's administrator that this site is using an ILLEGAL copy of SMF!

I havent touched anything except for just transferring over the files to my server and using upgrade.php!  What caused this???  How do I fix it??

Repair_settings doesnt work for me for soem reason.  It says my settings.php file is not writable even though it is.  The forum was working fine when I moved until I upgraded to 1.1.  As soon as the upgrade finished and I clicked on the forum, I got this illegal error.  Please see http://www.theofficialsoulpatrol.com/forum1

P.S.  I went in and changed settings.php manually because I cant use the repair_settings utility and I'm still getting the same error!  Someone please help!  Ive had my forum down for over an hour now and cant leave it down any longer!

i clicked your link and your missing a bunch of files. try re-uploading the files to your forum.

I went ahead and re-uploaded all of the files one directory at a time to ensure that everything was uploaded and I'm still getting the same problem.  Would this have anything to do with the fact that I have 2 forums uploaded to the same server? I have different databases for each, but not sure if there is a conflict somewhere when I restored the data to my 2nd database.  I changed the settings properly.  I had to do it this way because I couldnt afford to take the risk of having problems with a clean install and losing my current forum or having it down for long periods of time while I fixed any problems. I need to get this 2nd forum working properly, then I will go in and delete the first one, but I cant seem to get the 2nd working right!  Does anyone have any other ideas?  I'm so frustrated with this, I can never get anything to work right!   :'(

Download the appropriate upgrade package and use FileZilla to upload all the files. It's a great FTP client and it will ask you if you want to overwrite the files or skip them (tell it that you want to overwrite all of them). Something probably didn't get uploaded right.

Nevermind, I seem to have gotten it working.  Thanks for everyones help though.  I couldnt get repair_settings.php to work because I was putting it in the Sources directory and trying to run it.  I dont believe it says anywhere in the instructions to make sure its placed in the root directory, so for anyone else having the problem, now you know.  Thanks!

My forum problem is different though (I just noticed I accidently deleted my last post). My new forum install is completely intact, I just have that error on the bottom that says:
LainaaSorry, the copyright must be in the template. Please notify this forum's administrator that this site is using an ILLEGAL copy of SMF!

I have the babylon theme uploaded (I can see the folder and files under it in my FTP program and my web filemanager), am I just missing one file?

Edit:
When I log in and try to go to my profile, I get this error also:
LainaaUnknown column 'mem.im_ignore_list' in 'field list'
File: /home/comptech/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php
Line: 469

Also just got this:
LainaaUnknown column 'lb.logTime' in 'field list'
File: /home/comptech/public_html/forum/Sources/BoardIndex.php
Line: 82
