SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
In trying to do a test conversion of my IPB v2.0.0 database to SMF 1.1 RC2, the conversion progress came to a screeching halt with this error message as it was trying to convert the poll options (I apologize for the length of the error message, I didn't want to leave out anything that might be of importance):

Converting posts (this may take some time)... Successful.
Converting polls... Successful.
Converting poll options... Unsuccessful!

A search of these forums came up with one other post that was having a somewhat similar issue, but not quite (plus it didn't seem to have a resolution).  Can one of the gurus here at SMF give me a hand with this?  Thanks in advance for any help.

Nice looking software, btw.

OK, well I guess I will respond to my own problem here to help others who might also run into this.

After thinking this over a bit and looking at the error message, it appeared to me that perhaps there could be a problem in regards to the null values that I saw sprinkled here and there.  So I went to my original forum and did an edit on the polls that were showing a null value, removed the null value option and then re-ran the conversion file.  This time it got past the polls with no problems.  I suspect these null values were put in place by the previous conversion program when I went from Ikonboard to IPB years ago.  So the moral of the story is, sometimes you need to go in and clean things up a bit to get the conversion to run smoothly.  However, after getting through most of the conversion process I got another error message regarding stats....but I guess that will be the subject of another topic...

The stats issue is a known problem. Just go into SMF and click on "Recount all totals and statistics" from the "Forum Maintenance" section of the admin center and you should be fine.

As a follow-up on my last comment about the stats error at the end of the conversion.  I tried the new convert.php file posted in this thread http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=65677.0 along with the standard invision2_to_smf.sql file.  That combo appeared to work great.  It got rid of the error message and completed the conversion process.  My stats appeared to be in place and correct when I logged into the forums and everything else seemed to be correct at a quick glance.
