Your picture doesn't explain what's wrong.
"Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise."

i don't understand from your words.
but i understand from the picture and my experience.
when i installed mambo and integrated smf i had the same problem.
its because the theme was not designed for mambo/joomla.
when you download any smf theme designed for mambo/joomla then you'll not have the problem.

i hope you understand my english.

thanks for your help,

but i have test it with another template (portal blue) and there is no error,
but i have running the SMF standard Theme correct before i have install the portal blue.

there must be a solution nevertheless or not i don´t know.

i want to use the SMF Standard Theme, because there is little error with extensions.

have you any suggestions again.

best regards

.Darkman

you can use the default theme.
but some small modifications must be done to integrate it with mambo/joomla.
but i don't know how to do it  :(
try downloading the SMF_Mambo_CSS_Guide that kindred posted in the above mentioned thread.

thank for your help,

but i don´t understand this, because on the first time the SMF Standard Theme works without any
modifications under Joomla 1.0.8 with the bridge from Orstrio 1.1.3.

Hello Orstrio,

sorry i can´t explain so good in english. My problem is that when you see the screenshot
I have a grey edge outside and that am not correctly normally see
differently out look please on my side after under:

http://www.alko-hohl.de

please go to the button Forum and than you can see what i mean.

i will install another Theme and you can see how looking normally

best regards

OK, I think I see now.  If the forum width gets wider than the placeholder, it forces the image in the top left to separate from the edge.

That actually has more to do with your Joomla template than your SMF theme, though if you use a different SMF theme you might notice the difference as well, because it could adjust to fit.

Hello Orstrio,

thanks for your answer, the question had placed now in the
Joomla Forum
