Has anyone successfully converted a Yabb 2.1 board to SMF.
If so what did you use and where did you get it?  Im looking
to convert but want to keep all my posts and my user information.
Thanks in advance.

Does the yabb 2 converter from here work http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=38966.0 ?

This requires SMF 1.1 RC2

I tried it with my yabb 2.1 board and the error message I am getting I believe is related to one of the mods that I have installed on my board.  I have the extended profiles yabb mod on there and that converter program dont like the extra fields that I have added in my profiles section for my users.
Just to give you an idea of what the error was I will post it into here.  There is alot more before these but this should give you an idea of what the error I am getting is related too.

Unsuccessful!
This query:

    INSERT INTO `viewmype_forum`.viewmype_members
(memberName, passwd, realName, emailAddress, websiteTitle, websiteUrl, signature, posts, ID_GROUP, ICQ, AIM, YIM, MSN, gender, personalText, avatar, dateRegistered, location, birthdate, hideEmail, lastLogin, pm_email_notify, karmaGood, karmaBad)

Caused the error:

Unknown column 'pm_email_notify' in 'field list'

You could try removing the extended profiles mod or post a yabb db structure dump so that someone could try modifying the converter for you

Even easier I updated my SMF board to 1.1 RC2 and it fixed "most" of the problems.
I re-tried updating my Yabb board after upgrading to Rc2 and everything copied over
fine EXCEPT for the POSTS that are on my board.  All the member information
private messages etc .. all that copied over fine.  Only my posts ( which are pretty important )
didnt make it.  Any ideas on that one ?

Whats even weirder to myself is that the Topics show when you push the "Home" button.
Except there are no posts beneath the topics.  Then when I go into the Admin Center
and go to clean up the boards they dont show in the "Manage Boards" section and I cant
even delete what was messed up when it copied over???

Can you try checking the posts are in the SMF are in the db?

Also do you get any errors if you go to Admin > forum maintenance > Find and repair errors

The posts are NOT in the SMF db.  I did the find and repair errors and it did say that I had
errors so I clicked the fix button and it made a SALVAGE category.  I then went back to
Forum Maintenance and was able to see the other categories I wanted to delete and did
get them deleted.  I went and created a new category and tried to click on the New Category/Board
that I made and it gives me this error.

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 1, 12)' at line 3
File: public_html/newforum/Sources/MessageIndex.php
Line: 102

So I have all the information from my messages and my topics dumped from the SQL table into
txt files.  I have all the information that was missing ready to go.  How can I inject that information into the new tables for my SMF board? Do I have to do each board and topic and posts manually by doing
the INSERT INTO ********  or is there another easier way to get this accomplished ?
