using register outside forum script and adding inserts to other database...

Hi all and thanks for a great board, I only discovert it recently and i must say it's better than most.

I was wondering how to add a user from an other script as I wish to make it possible that visitors who sign up at the other part of the website also are included in the forum database and visa versa.

What fields do I need to mandatory add to make a new member (and activate it)
And where do I add the inserts to my other database if a new member registers at the forum?
