Can't access Mambo Administration after loading SMF Bridge

I'm having an interesting time loading the Mambo bridge, but the most critical issue at this time is that it seems to have locked me out of my Mambo Administration.

I had installed the bridge component and everything seemed to go okay. Then after being away from my desk and my usual Mambo Admin session timing out, I tried to log back in with username and password and received a "Incorrect username, password or access level" message. This occurs with all admin username and passwords. (there are 3)

Interestingly, I can still log onto the public site using my username(s) and password(s) - I had yet to update this to use the SMF login, so it's still using the Mambo login.

I tried to use an SMF login, but that didn't work.

I have the same username and password for the Mambo administration as the SMF administration. Could this be confusing it? I tried changing the password to SMF, but still encounter the problem.

I also attempted to reset the password using phpMyAdmin and the instructions shown on the Mambo forum thread "Change your superadmin pass via phpMyAdmin", http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthread.php?t=75272 [nofollow]however this did not resolve the problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You probably have conflicting information in your mos_core_acl_groups_aro_map table.

Go to PhpMyAdmin, and look for your username.  Remember the "aro_id" associated with that username.

Now go to the mos_core_acl_groups_aro_map table.  Find that aro_id.  If there aretwo entries, one with a group_id of 25 and the other with a group_id of 18, delete the entry with 18.

Thank you very much Orstio, that appears to have fixed the problem.  :D

Now I just have to get the template working!   :)
