Help Needed Urgently!!

Hi Everyone

I have just tried to install the Mod SMFSEO . Now my forum isn't working and I need to get it back online ASAP. The website is www.holidaystobulgaria.com/forums I have also tried installing the back up but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Must be something related to sessions and cookies.
Delete the cookies for your site in your browser and the forum appears.
As soon as you start browsing again the problem reoccurs.
There is a cookie set and a session ID in the URL.
Looking at the cookie - it is different than the URL.
This is probably causing the conflict which results in a blank page.

Like kenmcd said try that , go to forums maintainance and click on all the links u see there on the right. It should fix it. If not something else is wrong.

Hi All

It seems to work in the yabb theme but not in the default them if you look again I have changed it back and it is still not coming up. I have done the forum maintenance and It didn't fix anything. I was just thinking Does the SMFSEO change anything manually in the code that could cause this?

I cannot download this it is not automatically downloading and then when I try again it is going to a text screen full of PHP is this correct and do I then copy that to my server. If so where do I put it?

Hi Everyone

I think I found a fix. I have to turn off the search engine friendly url check box in the admin panel now it seems to be working fine though Will keep an eye on it an dlet you know. If anyone knows why this would effect the forum please let me know as I would rather have this switched on.

Well probably the uninstall didnt work properly and didnt remove all the code changes it made to files or maybe it left some sql junk and didnt clean it. Try to mannually remove the code changes it has made .
