Trouble installing 1.0.7

I have been trying all evening to install this program and it keeps giving me this message:


A critical error has occurred.

This installer was unable to find the installer\'s language file or files. They should be found under:

', dirname($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) != '/' ? dirname($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) : '', '/Themes/default/languages

I have uploaded every single file one at a time repeatedly and I still get this message.Any idea what I could have did wrong?Thanks in advance,Steve.

Are you uploading though cPanel or FTP client?

Try using another FTP client and overwrite the files.  Take a look at ConTEXT.

Ok I downloaded the program ConTEXT.I don't really understand what it is?How do I use it to do overwrite the files?

It's an FTP client.  COnnect to your website via FTP and reupload the files.

ConTEXT is an editor, not an FTP client.  Here's a list of FTP clients you can test drive:

TurboFTP
SmartFTP
BulletProofFTP
FileZilla (free)

A google search for ftp client will yield a lot of results.  I highly recommend TurboFTP.  FileZilla is free and I've heard some good things about it.

Ok,I am really confused.I have transferred everything to Filezilla and I am still getting that error message.Whats the deal?

This is the web site that I have up now.I have a complete new site ready.Some of the links on this one don't work and the forum on this one is not the one I am trying to build.I am wanting to place my new forum in the new site once I get this thing figured out.Thanks very much for your patience.Steve.

When I checked it there was a file not found error on the page so I was not able to see anything at all!

I used filizilla to overwrite all the files.http://mysite.verizon.net/captinhowwdeee.
I downloaded Filezilla Server.I have no idea how to use it.It [nofollow] just looks like an empty box to me.

It seems like your host doesn't support PHP. Ask them if they support it.

It seems they don't.Where can I find a host that does suport PHP and how can I set this up with them.This is not a site I make money on so I'm trying to do this for free.
