Ok I just uninstalled it.I read that it has no security measures and is not good for a php board.Just one user online will slow it to a halt.God what do I need to do here.

What I'm trying to do is to put a message board directlly in the middle of my web site so users don't have to leave the website to use the forum.Like [nofollow] this one here.

You need to get a host that allows PHP and has MySQL access.  Like I stated there are a few good free hosts in the Hosts and Hosting board.

I just put the main page of the forum in the code for my website. It [nofollow] will only work for this page.If I click any links it doesn't work now.
i understand I would need all the files on my server for the board to actually work. Please someone tell me how I can do this.

major like I stated before the host on which you are on needs to have PHP and MySQL compiled with Apache.  That website is using a cgi board.  SMF was written in PHP so you need a host that supports PHP.  You will not be able to setup this forum using that host.

Yes I understand that.I just can't beleive that their isn't an easy way to sit one up on my site with out knowing all the code and jargon that is in the instructions with these servers and such.

All applications, be they web based or pc based, have minimum requirements.  It's up to the end user to determine if their webserver meets the minimum requirements to install SMF.  It's also necessary for the end user to have a working knowledge of installing PHP applications, using MySQL, and solving basic problems.

Users who don't have that knowledge, or who don't want to take the time to acquire that knowledge, can still use SMF.  Quite a few hosts have SMF auto-installers, where all you need to do is use your site's control panel application and simply click the "install SMF" button.

Majormudd you will not be able to install PHP on your host since you DO NOT have root access to the server.  This is something that the hosting company has to do.
