Need advice in upgrading to 1.1 RC2

I'm currently running 1.0.7 and want to upgrade to 1.1 RC2 (Newest version?)

Do I install the entire new installation, run and over write the 1.0.7 version?.. or is there a 'patch' to upgrade to 1.1 RC2?

Will I lose any database info or info in the board itself if I do an a new installation? I assume I will make back ups though...

Yes make backups before attempting anything

To upgrade to 1.1 RC2 I recomend you use the upgrade package as this will ensure a fresh set of files

Unzip the contents and upload them over any files already there, when all uploaded goto http://yoursite.com/forum/upgrade.php and follow those steps
