Is Phpbb 2.0.20 to Smf conversion possible?

Hello,
Is it possible to convert phpbb 2.0.20 to smf as i am getting tired of all the freaking updates phpbb keeps doing. I downloaded the converter but it says its only tested for 2.0.7 .

So anyone tried conversion?

Yes, it will work just fine. It was tested with 2.0.7, but the phpBB database hasn't changed since then (at least nothing that SMF needs has changed).

Sorry but any instructions available how to convert cause all it downloads is  just a php file i was hoping maybe it will have a readme file or something.

Well as i expected i got this error message i guess the convertor doesnt work with latest version of smf

The installation of SMF in the path you specified is not a version this converter can deal with. If it is older than SMF 1.0, you need to upgrade first. If it is newer, you need to use a different converter.
