hi i was just wondering what the latest version is? is it 1.0.7 or 1.1RC2
im very confused

SMF 1.0.7 is the latest stable version. There are no known bugs in it. SMF 1.1 RC2 is the latest bèta version, there are known bugs in it.

ok.. thanks. whats the easiest and safest way to downgrade from 1.2RC back to 1.0.7.

there are some mods that cannot run on the beta version.

and does anyone know how to get the spell check mod?

There is no mod for spell checking - spell checking is included in RC2.  All you need is aspell on your webserver.  Review the online documentation for more info.

yeah. i realise that now. i shall have to contact my host about putting pspell or aspell on the server.
where is this available from?
