Help with modifying classic YaBB theme, please?

I'm pretty okay with it right now, I think I'll have to make a button set because I don't like the white matte of the buttons against the dark background (client request), but I am stumped on how to make the brown background behind the stats go away...or rather, fill it with white.  Any help on that?  Please?
