Does this already exist?... I found a little script I modified for my last phpBB forum, here it is:

http://rapidshare.de/files/23005228/LastActiveTopics4phpBB.php.html

It displays n # of rows, each with whe name of the X latest active topic (with a link to the firs post), the #views, #replies, the author (linked to his/her profile) of the last post in that topic, and a link to that last post.

It would be a kickarse addition to the SMF Bridge, could you help me? (since I dunno which files I should include), I understand a little of php, and figured out some of the php <-> mysql in order to add those extra fields to the script (since it only displayed the topics linked to the last post {or something like that}).

Thx in advance,

Regards

Hey, thnx a lot, ty for your support so far  :)

Its not exactly exactly what I was looking for, but it helps a lot!... I'm still looking forward to modify it. There are two modules that have what im looking for, and seem to work the same: mod_smfRecentTopics and mod_smf_topTopicsReplies.

Heres what I have in mind:

What i need from the first one:
  -linked topic name
  -user with link to his/her profile
  -date, which i think ill simplify somehow to dd/mm/yyyy
  -linked board name

From the second one:
  -Views
  -Replies

In order to get a table like this:
______________________________________________________________________
|                 |Topic                   |Views | Replies | Last Post                            |
|topicicon.gif |linked topic1 +       | views | replies | "By" + linked user +"in" + date |
  0               |"in" linkedcategory  |         |           |    + linked last_post.gif2             |

0 = Maybe
1=To the first post
2=To the las post

Now heres my question :P, none of the php files seem to have a real output, and thy look exactly the same!, are they protected or something or what should I do to edit them?. In mod_smfRecentTopics you can see the php echoes, but not in those 2...

Thnx again

Kindred

they call for functions defined in SMF's SSI.php file...   look at ssi_examples.php in your forum folder.
