How do I install a downloaded MOD?

winrules

Go to Admin -> Packages -> Download Packages and then upload the file. Then click on apply mod and follow the instructions.

okay, i'm gonna hijack this thread...

i've got a bunch of mods already installed, which of course makes it harder and harder to install any more, since the code has been modified so much that the one i'm trying to install can't recognize the code it's trying to modify.

so, what actually happens if i proceed with a mod installation in that case?  will it ignore the errors, and still do all the rest of the mod's install actions?  or does it only go as far as the first error?

i'm trying to figure out whether i can run the installation, and then hand-modify the ones that fail, or if i have to modify the install script first, to remove any reference to the files that it can't figure out on its own.

winrules

It will do the modifications on all error-free files.
