Upgrade worked fine. EVERY modification install fails. Themes are weird.

It's really getting me down, this.

Good old Package Manager is throwing errors up, all over the place. subs.php is a common one.

Problem with Package Manager, is that it says what's failed, yet gives no clue as to WHY.

Some, such as the Googlebot mod, say they've installed as they should. However, when I try to move to another page, I get errors. Luckily, I've been able to overwrite the offending files and get back in. Trying, then, to uninstall the mod throws up yet more errors.

I've not, really, given you much to go on, here. Problem is, there's not much else that I CAN give you, sadly.

All files are write-enabled.

Even installing themes is weird. After installation, they don't appear in the list shown in "Profile". I can, however, change the forum default theme to the ones that I've installed. So they're definitely there.

Is this why 1.1 has been so long in going gold, I wonder...

Any ideas, pretty-please?

Check your file permissions throughout.

package manager works fine.

I made every single file on the site write-enabled, Tony. Not good for security, but that's what I tried.

Weird, huh?

Is the ownership(CHOWN) of the files correct?

I suspect that your server is collecting the mods via ftp and the ownership is set to php(nobody:nobody) and so your account doesnt have permission to change the server collected files.

All permissions are currently set at 777.

That should give me total access, shouldn't it?

Thanks for your help, here, Tony. Appreciated.

chown is different to chmod :)

Ask your host support desk to verify that all your files are chowned to your account ;)

If they are not chowned then ask them if they would mind doing it. (only root users can chown)

Im off home - so wont be on until later :)
