Including an ENTIRE SMF Forum

I would like to include an entire SMF forum above a Joomla content region.

How would I accomplish this? I have tried simply including the index.php file, but that did not fully work (only index.php was included).

i would use an iframe..... its for the most part seemless and easy to manage... but i am not entirely familiar with everything you are involving... just know that when an include fails... i use iframes.. but like i said.. this may not work for what you are trying to do.....

Yes, however, I am unsuccessful in placing the SMF forum above Joomla.
I can include index.php, but that's about it.

I have tried creating a module within Joomla, but it just displays raw PHP code.

Basically, what I'm trying to do is create a module to include the SMF component and place that above Joomla.
