The option to hide (or show) Moderators for a given board on the index

On my current forums:

It lists the moderators for each board.  Because of the way our organization is set up (All officers are moderators by default), there is no reason to list the same people on each and every board.

I would like to see the option to turn off the Moderator listing on the Board Index, and at the top of the forums in the path to the current board.  I realize this can be done as a part of the theme, but making it an actual option would allow for more flexibility for all administrators.
