Post Moderation

I am not sure if this is the correct place so if it is not, I do apologize.  I have been having some recent issues with people singing up on my forum and just posting inappropriately.  I have done some searching about post moderation but all the discussion was from a year or so ago and nothing recent.  I also looked in the mods and could not find anything.  I am looking to do like what is done in the yahoo groups.  New members, when they automatically sign up need to have any and all posts approved by a moderator until the moderators decide they will follow the rules and remove that option so they can post and it will show right away.  Is this coming, is there some changes I can make so this can be done, or is there nothing I can really do with this right now and I have to wait to see if it will be an available option?

I am using version 1.1 RC2.  Thank you in advance for any and all help and advice.

Until that release, you may try using Visual Warning Mod.

Thanks, I have tried to get that visual warning mod to work and I am just struggling.  I understand how to do it all but it's just not working and I don't have as much time as I would like to make it work.  It's just a problem with the post.php file.  Anyways, thanks!!
