Yes, this is permission thing

Admin -> Edit Permissions -> Unregistered Guests -> modify -> View profile summary and stats -> Any profile -> Deny

exactly this is not working in version 114 - guests can always view the profile

Check the permissions on your forum like Owdy said. This is definitely working in version 1.1.4. It must be an issue with your forum configuration.

It is not even working here in this forum! - as guest I can look into any ones profile and have tested it with my forum as well..same problem. My forum's guest permission configuration has everything unchecked and still..


have a look here and tell me how the hacker could see my website? He is certainly not a forum member?

mate, I wrote already I've done it and still can see any profile...just believe me ok?

btw, may I request to disable guests from viewing profiles in this forum? - it would have saved some headache at least for me instructing someone to repel a hacker just to have an *application to join*, from this hacker (same IP), for my forum

the issue isn't even a hacking... from what i read in the other thread

undefined indexes are usually language strings that aren't defined for the language you're using.

there's nothing to patch, as far as i'm aware.

If guests are still able to view profiles they are getting the permission from somewhere.  if you'd like to send me an admin login for your board i'd be glad to take a look

sure, currently there is no Guest group

there is no such thing as a guest group -- the guest group is not a true usergroup... it is only a permission set for those that are not logged in

look in admin > permissions.

Thanks, obviously magically, overnight my Guests-can-view-profile has been fixed!

Now, it's falling back to the log-in screen, when attempting to view the profile, which never happened before.
