Member's Space - any suggestions?

Hello,

I would like to create some kind of member space on my site. I've thought on creating a Section "Members Space" which would have a Category for each member. The members would be able to edit their category's items.

In the Joomla! forum, I was given the url for a component, the Community Builder. However, it seems that the Community Builder has his own Login Module which may not be compatible with the Bridge.
Can anyone try to make them compatible?

Using the bridge login module will log you into CB.  Using the CB login module will NOT log you into SMF.

Could you please explain me how to install the CB properly without affecting the forum?
