So what's the status on the graphics repository? When I click on the graphics link on the main menu I get the home page...same with some of the other links.

I've been scanning the forums for different skins and it seems they are just kind of scattered. Of course...I might just be missing something obvious!  ::)

Is there one place where all the available skins are posted?

Did you look in this thread?

jomaco1

Yeah...I looked all throught this thread. But, there are skins that are not posted in this thread...like the dark glaze skin. Just want to be sure not to miss anything.  :)

Tomer

1st post of this thread...

Its called Themes here.

nil

He is right though Lamper, Dark Glaze is not listed.

BTW It would be great if you could separate or otherwise designate which themes, buttons, etc. cost money.

Tom Veik

The first post has been broken for a while now.  Most of the preview graphics just show the little red X.

I'm assuming that the link won't become live until SMF has been released and that the themes will have to be written for RC1, not beta's

Some graphics on the first post are dead. They are all from

http://cadish.dog-******.net/smf_archive/

Tomer

Yeah thats Cadish's server, I hope his server will come back. :)

klumy

Isnt' it possible to mirror this graphics on the official SMF server?

Tomer

Since this isin't an official SMF Graphic Archive, no.

Tom Veik

How about attaching the previews to the posts announcing the theme or button set.  And then linking to the attachment like this.

FWIW if you don't make this site a central repository for all things SMF, then you'll wind up like the plethora of CMS' with 'fan sites' spread all over the web, making it virtually impossible for users to source things like graphics, templates, hacks and add-ons as each fan site tries to 'grab a corner of the market.'

SMF is still in the beta stages, you might be surprised at how much is in the works but just not accessable publicly yet.
