Can I upgrade from 1.0.7 to RC2?

Hi!

I am waiting for SMF 1.1 Final..., but I found a lot of mods that are necessary for my forum so I can't wait so long, so I decided upgrade to RC2. My question is if should I upgrade to RC1 before or I can upgrade imediatly to RC2?

How long the upgrade can be?

no. Do not bother with RC1.

Download the RC2 update archive file, unzip, upload and run upgrade.php

One more question..., the other admin of my forum wants to wait for SMF 1.1 Final Release..., any ideia of the date for this release?

no predicted date.

I suggest that you upgrade now.   Switching from 1.0.x to 1.1RC2 can take some time...  but the switch form RC2 to RC3 or final should be painless.
