Calendar Event "Sets"

I'm not sure if this is in any forum software, but possibly there could be calendar event sets by default that people could choose from. Example: US Holidays would have the 4th of July (Happy fourth by the way!), Presidents Day, Memorial Day, etc; Jewish Holidays would be Holidays specific to the Jewish religion, e.g. Chaunkuka. (sp), and so on. This would make for a more versatile calendar, and also make it easier to offer the calendar feature to wider demographic. Of course you can always add events yourself, however, this feature would make things easy on administrators.

Maybe something can be done via package manager so you do not have to input them by hand? Like a jewish package, islamic package or regional stuff like a german or english package?

Got no idea how to do that
