Logging issues with Joomla 1.0.10

Whenever I upgrade to the latest version starting from 1.0.9 of Joomla and now 1.0.10 components and modules does not seem to recognize that I am logged.  The SMO-Ajax-Shoutbox for example does not recognize me as a log-in user.

I am using the following:

Joomla 1.0.10
SMF 1.1 RC2
Bridge 1.1.4

I have further checked just now and Joomla does not recognized that I am log-in since all items for registered users are not accessible at all.

I recommend reading the Combined Readme which is stickied in this forum?

Remember the Joomla login is case sensitive whereas the SMF login isn't. There is a hack to solve this though which I believe is in the readme. There are other login related fixes in there too - one specifically for versions of Joomla 1.0.9 and greater which is relevant here.
