Share a mysql members database?

Hello, now, I have two forums, one with over 900 members, and one with only 30 something members, I want to know if I can share a mysql database somehow, but not so the posts and stuff go to both forums, just so that the members, and their data will be shared by both SMF forums, I hope you can understand me, I want to know if this is possible, or not, and if it's possible, how I can do it.

It's been discussed before and is possible although isn't officially supported. There are some topics floating around regarding how to do it which you should be able to find if you do a search.

I tried a little while ago, but it says it's temporarily disabled, maybee I can do a google site search instead.
