program many newsletters ahead

Hi.

I have switched all my forums from vbulletin to phpbb, then to SMf.

I have been into forums scripts for about five years, so I know what I am talking about.

One feature that would be great in the already beautiful SMF script, is to be able to program many newsletters ahead of time, and those be sent at the selected date automatically.

This feature already exists in many mailing list manager scripts, such as phpmylist, which according to freshmeat.net is described as: http://freshmeat.net/projects/phpmylist/

PHPMyList provides central mailing list facilities for a website with open subscription by users. Written in PHP and MySQL, the system is entirely web based (no need for cron jobs).


Now even if we can get this feature with a cron job, it would still be a big plus.

I would be very happy if someone replies to this showing me that a mod already exists for this.. as I searched and did not find one.
