Message Icon sets?

I found the great thread on smiley sets here:  http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=15622.0

But what about a good collection of message icons?  The default set is...well, blah!

Also - when inserting a link (as I did above), it seems there is NOT an option to highlight some text and link the text to it - you have to put the URL inside the url box instead.  Am I missing something here?  Is there a way to link direct with text?

decent sets well depends on what you are after.

Oh!  Thanks!  Why isn't there just an operation icon we can click on within smf forums?  Or is it something I can download and install?

again - thanks - as far as "decent", well, I guess the message icons included are decent, they just don't seem very creative or fun and are similar to eachother.  Just looking for choices!
