Spell checker and smilie packs

Have everything working on my forum, just converted from PHPBB, except the spell checker. I have this checked; how do I get it working?

Also; are there any additional smilie packs available, and if so where?

Spell check requires aspell is installed on the server and php is compiled --with pspell
