SMF Version: SMF 1.0.7
Can it be done this way. if you can point me to the steps of upgrading. the file. it will good. Thanks Cheers.......

Use the upgrade package.  An update would be from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7.  Also take a look at the Upgrade Guide.

Cannot 1.0.7 to 1.1CR2?  :D

No what I am saying an update would be from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7 and an upgrade would be from 1.0.x to 1.1.  So you need to use the upgrade package.
