Welp... games issue is over with. I then decided I would like to use a theme from here instead of making my own like I have done in the past. Realized the theme would not work with MK Portal, so I ditched that. Now the theme works, but there's no admin section anymore. It's just gone. How on earth could I have done this? I'm aware that some people should just not be allowed to do this kinda stuff. haha but I am anyway!

(oh, and the arcade went bye bye too, but I'm more concerned with the admin page)

*edit

Sorry, search, admin, calendar, everything is gone cept the main forum. YIKES!

jerm

Please re-upload your smf files except for settings.php and settings_bak.php
also make sure that the version of the theme is compatible with the version of smf

ok everything is working dandy now. The theme says it's ok with the version I'm using. Lies! hehe I tried again, i even went to the step by step instruction page and once installed and set up, there was nothing, nothing worked again. I just don't seem to be getting it. Or I'm missing something really important.

Dextrophobia

I tried a different theme, and it's the same thing. What on earth am I missing? Once i change everything the page just says 'Unable to load Themes/default/Errors.template.php!'

Make sure all the template files from the default folder are uploaded and uploaded correctly. Any part your theme doesn't explicitly customize is used from the default theme.

So everything works fine with the default theme?
If thats the case, try to contact the theme creator.
