January 03, 2023, 03:46:39 AM by mroek...... there is one minor issue I just discovered: When searching for words that contain Norwegian letters (i.e ............ with any of those letters in a word in the title, search will find them just fine. If I run a SQL query ( ............ with "Hardanger ....", which is OK. However, searching for 'hårda' (without quotes) in SMF does not ............ ). However, these hits are not highlighted in the search results, for some odd reason. I have not created ............ search index, and my forum is running on PHP 8.1, and ............ with these letters in the body of messages/posts, search will find them, so the problem lies just with ............ is a VARCHAR, while body is TEXT. If creating a search index might resolve this, then I will do that, ............ I would like to know more about the problem before just trying that. And finally, my forum is ............ locked down, so there's no point in posting links to it. Sorry about that. ......
