This mod will add an option to either just ask for a name when a guest posts, or not ask for an e-mail or name. You can change the option in Features and Settings.

I like to have an area where unregistered users can post / ask questions / leave comments... but i would not allow it on the whole board. I think this has the potential for a great mod if you would do it Board specific, let us know as soon as it is, I am willing to test-run it

Is the feature you mean" Allow users to edit their displayed name?" in the Basic forum settings. This is already there.
Can I force users to change their names to "Mary"?

Anonymous posting is posting without first registering with and e-mail and blabla and simply post without an account. I think this is very useful for support boards, but since i don't want anonymous posts anywhere all over the forum I would wait for it to be "localized" to certain boards... or i will have to make all boards invisible to guests to prevent them from posting, thats stupid

I can't find where this is an option either. I checked Features and Settings, Permissions, Posts...Just about everything I could think of, but I can't find it.
