SMF Version: SMF 1.0.8

I just installed firefox2 (linux), and found out that using the alt+p for preview and alt+s for send in textareas no longer works. I find this very annoying personally, and I don't really know how to work around it. The firefox keyboard shortcut configuration seems to be a total mess, but mayhaps one could find a fix that way. I dunno.

If someone has a clue, that'd be great.

Open up Firefox and type about:config in the address bar, then hit enter.
In the filter box, type access.
Double-click on ui.key.contentAccess and change its value to 4.

If you don't feel like editing the config, add the Shift key to those combos.

Okay... now got alt+s working, alt+p still does something odd... But this is much better than it was. I hope I can get the alt+p fixed somehow as well.

Try going back to about:config and changing the ui.key.chromeAccess value to 5 - that will cause ALT+SHIFT+key to trigger menu accesskeys instead of ALT+key. Feel free to complain to the developers about it on BugZilla. I've been trying for weeks to get them to change the default functionality, but nobody with the power to do so seems to care.

I complained to bugzilla. Hope that helps by adding pressure to fix the issue.
