Grudge

All,

I've had a little time today to make a few small tweaks to this. Firstly, the fact that install doesn't copy the files to the subs directory is actually a bug in RC1 - which will be fixed in RC2 ;)

Changes in this update:

  • Fixed SQL errors during upgrade
  • Made subscription description longer so it doesn't cut off
  • By default select renewing subscription
  • If user is already subscribed to a subscription then don't offer them it again
  • Fixed problem with currency not showing decimal point

Currently I'm not intending to expand the feature set right now as I really don't have the time - but I do want to fix any bugs. This technically adds support for authorize.net but I'm not sure if it actually works. As always let me know whether things work or not and I'll try fix them :)

You guys may be best off waiting for RC2 if you don't want the install to be tricky.

Uh, does 'will be fixed' mean it's not yet fixed?  Just wondering how long we'll have to wait. Actually I'm more concerned how my mods will break in RC 2. >_<

<edited>Sigh. But I guess it's worth the wait... To me RC means we're releasing it if we find nothing *more* that's wrong, instead of after fixing ramaining bugs which is for Beta. ^_^'</edited>

Grudge

No - it means I fixed it last night.

So... where can we get that fix?  :P

Sounds like it didn't make the modifications to modifications.english.php - can you check if there is anything in that file?

When a member takes out a subscription and I receive the payment by mail, this member does not pass automatically in the group planned for this subscription I must do it manually??

The one addition ive said before that this mod realy needs, is a way of editing the users subscription by a edit link put in the users profile.. Would Make it much easier to find a user...
I have 250 + users in one subscription block, and that equals to 11 pages of listings of users lol, doing my eyes in looking through them lol!

Heres screenshot of how the mod is shaping up on my site!
And also attached a theory pic at the very bottom to show what i mean about the edit link in a users profile...
It makes sense doesnt it :)

Grudge

M3THOD, that makes sense to me.

Glad it's working properly for you - seems to be doing you quite nicely.

Sakuragi, the mod will automatically put members in the group once the money is received. Ensure you have the paypal info setup correctly as per my instructions - you have to setup your paypal account to post back to your forum - otherwise it won't work.

I have just seen your instructions!!
thanks.

Wow!!! I was just looking for something like this (and had even posted in the  Mod Requests forums asking).

The company I work for just recently switched to SMF, and one of the bosses ideas includes setting up special member only forums (in which we take the amount used to subscribe and give it back to the member as a voucher for other purchases, along with a few other goodies).

We have to get some better store software first, but overall this mod is looking like exactlywhat we will need for this!

Any chance of making this work with linkpoint, as they are our gateway (though we do have paypal account as well).

Anyways, now that I found this thread,I am definitely going to keep an eye on it for when the boss is ready to implement this idea (sometime next year).

Thanks!  And Grudge, you definitely deserve some compensation for all this hard work!!!

I too would be pleased to contribute to developement costs.

I have installed and all works well except for this!

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare subscriptions() (previously declared in /home/fronter/public_html/lg/Sources/Profile.php:2868) in /home/fronter/public_html/lg/Sources/Profile.php on line 3040

This occurs when you click on any member name, either in manage members or on the board in general. Any ideas?

Okay, on the above, canceled out the duplicate call on line 3040 and now this comes up

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3
File: /home/fronter/public_html/lg/Sources/Profile.php
Line: 3189
