want to hire PHP person for quick / easy job (menu changes)

i know html but not php and i don't see the coorlations that make me feel comfortable doing this, so i wonder how much someone would charge me to help get my menu changed.

the scenario:

default theme
ADD: Portal Home to menu. This will allow someone to click the menu to take them back to the portal (Joomla)
CHANGE: Chat - the chat currently references one i don't use and is broken. i need it to reference the same chat i use on the portal itself where the lnk is and works fine.

3 additional themes (4 max)
ADD: Portal Home to menu (as above)
ADD: Chat (as above)
ADD: Gallery (works fine in default, i'd like it to be on all theme menus)

Have you tried taking a look at this - http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=564.0 ?

Adding and editing menu entries isn't really that hard. If that tutorial doesn't help, you are welcome to attach your index.template.php files from your different themes and I or someone else can make the changes for you.
