Need a little help. (Online image in Who's online)

I wish to change the "online status" image with something different since I have changed the image that I use for the online status in posts.
I know where to change it, just not how.

just upload you new images over these:
\Themes\default\images\useroff.gif
\Themes\default\images\useron.gif

Sorry, I didn't explain well enough.
I want to change the particular files that the "Who's online" use.
I have already edited and modded the code for the posts, I just need to mod the code for Who.template.php to point to different images.

You are talking about the little PC icon displayed in the Who.template.php
