Yeah.. well..
I think you know the Reason for Edit modification..
What about modifying it so only Moderators and up can view/use it?
[I should do this myself.. I know :-\]
Anyway, I'm gonna open my forum soon and I don't know what kind of members will join.
And, when a moderaotr/admin edit's a post, they may edit it back with no "moderator-change"..
I don't want to dissable the Edit-function for my members. + I have the TimeStamp enabled (so I see when it's edited).
[Oh, yeah.. can I change this so only Admins/Mods see this stamp ?]

But.. now, the field..
Can someone make a mod where -on edit- an extra field is shown to Mods/Admins under the post-field?
In that field they can post something that's added under the post.
When normal members try to edit, they DON'T see that field, so can't edit that text.

Oh, yes. Maybe a [maedit] tag could be added that isn't displayed to the normal members..!
When a Mod/Admin puts [maedit] in the normal textfield, the text of the Moderator Edit Field isn't added on the bottom, but on the place where [maedit] is placed in the normal textfield.

I hope you understand what I mean :P [Watch my signature]

You should post this in the "Reason For Editing" mod's own thread.
