Topic Icons Error

At the bottom where it displays the "New Posts" and the image, and "No new posts" and another image, it shows the images but doesnt say the words new or old posts, so it just shows two pics,

How do I add the words next to it instead of just having the images ?

I would guess you're using an old BoardIndex template.  You could just add the text to the "on" and "off" icons used there - they are the smaller versions.
