I love the idea of a Christmass theme, but your current look hurts. 

My opinion would be to Opaque the snow images to say maybe 60% to make them look as they are the background.

Diffrent Reds Maybe?  Add some Green?  The colors of Chrismass.. the Red and Blue are too hard. 

Just my opinion!

yeah the idea was to have the background like falling snow - that wouldnt work on anything else but blue i dont think! but i'll try opaque-ing the snowflakes tho  and red and green are the colors i want to use but its getting the right colours in the right areas that i'm having trouble with. i think the brighter greens and reds would hurt the eyes and darker ones would be too heavy. its supposed to be a fun and slightly cheesy theme. aaaarrrrgggh why did i start this a day before december hehe

Thats my problem also when making images and stuff. I can never get the colors I want to match right.  Someone needs to develop a program that you can put in one color and POOF it will match 10, 15, 20 or colors that will look good with that one color. 

Yeah, I can dream also...

heres the updated theme - i still have more details to fix - and i'm going to create my own buttons, i just recolorized the default set as a temporary fix.

Looks a LOT better than the other image. Although, I am not sure how to word what I am thinking, maybe the colors are too primary? Too Bright, too much slapping when it first loads?  I dunno... Could be too much contrast?  Although, definitely has potential...  Wish it was done, I would add it our site.

its a PHP file written by Unknown into SMF that makes it simple to add Live information from the Forums into other pages of your site.  Last 5 posts ect...

Grrrr its dosn't work in FireFox and I don't have IE anymore to try it.  hmmm Wish again for a standalone windows version?

While im at it this site http://www.layoutland.net/generators/scrollbar.htm is good for helping in maiking scroll bars and such but most are IE features.

i've finished this theme now but i'm not sure how to prepare it for others to download as when i go into to the admin/current theme settings bit it needs the full link to the images etc (http://www.ukjuggalettes.com/forum.....) is it just a case of zipping the theme folder? or do i need to fiddle with it first?

awww i dont have those buttons anymore - the blue ones are from the default theme, the green ones i had just recoloured in paint shop pro, but i made my own set to go with the theme, although they are still based off the default ones.

everyone is free to use my theme and modify it to their own tastes. but give me a link so i can see what you've done - just me being nosey thats all lol 

Oh and please be aware that this is my first time puting up a theme for download and i am pretty amateur at creating a theme so there could be problems with it. it works fine for me but it may not work for you. post up any problems you have and i'll try and help, but as i said, i'm pretty new to this!
