Problem in RSS FEED-Not showing right number of RSS feed!

SMF Version: SMF 1.1.4
Hi
I am trying to have for 30 recent posts for my board.

So I did
http://www.yoindia.com/shayariadab/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml;limit=30;sa=news

but on clicking it is giving only 4 latest posts.

I tried to reduce number to 20 and then its giving only latest posts.
On giving 40, its showing only 6
on giving 50 , its showing only 8

So why it is giving less number of posts and any possible fix ?

PS: before posting I did a extensive search on forum and  did not find any solution.

Also : If I give very high number .. say 500 then at maximum it is showing 19 feeds only.

I forgot to mention that latest replies is working fine.

As I need around 20-30 feeds , when I give 200 then it shows around 19.. so I can manage but what if I get real 200 ? .. Please give some insight !...

From the looks of it, the query is using the same limits at the other functions.

No, its not yet solved.. 
Changing limit do affect the result.. as I mentioned, giving 10-15 gives around 3 topics while giving 200 give 19 results.
