I think that this problem is ONLY on PMs...

When I reply to some PM and use the quoted text, the spell check only shows the quoted text, not my text...

For example, this is the PM:

Quote from: blablabla
blablablabla

blablablabla
blablablabla

blablablabla

My text, blablablabla

This is what I see on the spell check window :
Quote from: blablabla
blablablabla

blablablabla
blablablabla

blablablabla

Where is My text, blablablabla ?

SMF 7 is where it gets good. That has time travel. You can go back and post before the guy who flamed you. :P

I can't get this to occur on either SMF 1.1 or 2.0..
Are you sure its an issue with SMF? Did you try a fresh install of SMF?

I notice this here, in this community...

Try to reply to one PM with quoted text and use the spell check. If you want, I can show you some screenshots!

I can confirm the bug here.

Its related to WYSIWYG (i had to enable it to get the bug)

1. Enable WYSIWYG.
2. Goto your inbox, click reply with quote.
3. Add some text or whatever at the end of the message
4. Click spellcheck.

Whatever text you added at the end isn't there.

SleePy

Thanks for that Karl.
Reported, and for team reference it is bug 1214
