You can try the advanced display options / custom display options  to specify a block shows up only when action = pm.

its like I have added smf wiki.
now smf wiki dosent shoes up there in custom display options.
any pointers?

bearstreet -- if you wanted a block to appear only for action=pm, you would use

Custom Display Option  ~action|pm

Please see the [?] popup next to the custom display options for more information.

Um, actually, come to think of it, you might have an easier time just using "My Messages" instead of the custom action.
My Messages actually is one of the advanced display options you can check-off....

Upgraded to SMF 1.1.15 .. Now my Simple Portal Copyright is off the temple.. It use to be right Below the SMF Copyright .. See pic.

Any ideas on how to put it back below the SMF copyright ??

Articles go in the "center section" of the page.
Any "bottom blocks" will go below the center section.  Top blocks will go above it.

There is a portal.css file that needs to be put into your custom theme's css folder.

ie. ref: http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=7733.msg42950;topicseen#msg42950

This usually occurs if the optional theme files were not included during SP installation or if the theme was installed/added after SP.

I am still trying to Figure out, How Cna it be Done?

I want to make a Shoutbox where only i (Being Admin) Can Shout (News, Quotes, Random One liners so on).

Can it be done? Can we disable anyone to shout except Admin?

As far as I know, Simpleportal has some permissions for the shoutbox, you may as well check if there is a permisisons to "shout"  and then revoke that permissions for all members but the admins.

There are permission settings only to Show the block or not and where.
It no where controls that only Admin can post...

Anyone found any workaround to do this? PleasE?
