i can't upgrade from 1.0.7 to 1.1.5

first of all sorry my english i cant upgrade my smf forum from the administrator control panel. I try download manualy the packages but when i try to upgrde the mesage says "the upgrader found some old or outdated files" i follow alll the instruction in the page but it dosent workk

I have the same problem - tried what was suggested, but it had no effect. Other suggestions? I'm trying to upgrade from 1.1.2.

if you're upgrading from 1.1.2 to 1.1.5, you do not need to run upgrade.php at all.  You just need to overwrite the files.  (all of them, except Settings.php)

From what I understood you want to upgrade to the latest version of the 1.1. series, i.e. 1.1.5. But you say at your very first post that you are trying to do so from the admin panel of your forum. Like that you can not upgrade your forum to 1.1.5. You must perform a manual upgrade. For more info have a look at the doc area and then ''Upgrading''

Upgrade SMF

You will have to use the large upgrade process to go from 1.0.x to 1.1.x, in this case 1.0.7 to 1.0.5

You should no longer need to make the file edit above so long as you re-download SMF now (the file was fixed after the release)

check and make sure *all* your language files are up to date as well.

your absolutly right, thats probably the problem...... but how chek that and how can up to date the language files

chances are they're not if you didn't specifically download the 1.1 versions and overwrite the 1.0 versions you had.

what languages do you have on your board?

the webinstall does have the ability i believe to initiate a large upgrade, i believe.

have you tried, for now, deleting all the language files altogether and ONLY leaving the ones that come with the upgrade package (which is english)

The other languages can be replaced after the upgrade is done.  But if ANY of those other languages has an outdated file you will get that error.

METALLICA, I DO THAT ...... I DELETE THE FOLDER THEME AND PUT THE COMPLETE FOLDER THEME THAT COME WHIT TE UPGRADE PACKAGE AND STILL SAY The upgrader found some old or outdated language files.
I DONT UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM REALLY  IS ANY OTHER FOLDER WHIT LANGUAGES???
