Members keep emailing me to say they are geting the following error:

'You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings'

They are having to change their password every time they visit the site in order to login.

Any ideas??

Check admin/server settings/core configuration and scroll down to check a cookie name is there ,Cookie name:   SMFCookie264 say ( the number wont be the same as my example).

Then tab to Feature configuration and check :

Default login cookies length (in minutes):         Set to 60

Enable local storage of cookies
(SSI won't work well with this on.)                   Unticked
   
Use subdomain independent cookies               Unticked
(turn off local cookies first!)

Use database driven sessions                         Ticked

Try on them settings if they are different and get a member to log in or try to with their proper account.

If what i say wont fix it then you need to post what the log says as metallica48423 kindly noted for anyone to find the exact reason you have this error.

I am just figuring its a simple settings issue but it could be more deep rooted into the forum and the logs will make it easier for the fault to be found.

I ran into the same problem and fixed it by going to admin/server settings/core configuration and scroll down to "Forum URL" and adding www to the URL.

Clear the error when trying to login? http://www.forum.bg-nacionalisti.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2516 in name and password correctly shows that I will. where is the error?
