I am planning on making fansites for all of the MMORPGs launched by this one game company.  I am therefore wondering if I can combine all of the forums from each fansite into 1 big forum.  I am wanting to make a big fansite portal so that all of my fansite will have links on the portal.  Then there will be a forum link which will lead into the portal's forum page.  On the forum will be the forum header links, which will lead into each of the individual fansite forums.

So the link branch will look like this:

Sparkonline Forums -> FiestaHQ Forum -> (FiestaHQ Forum Section) -> (FiestaHQ Forum Thread)

Sparkonline is the fansite portal name and FiestaHQ is the fansite.

Any ideas on how to make this work?

The script in that thread doesn't work for me.  I want to transfer 2 forums into my new forum to result into 1 big forum.

Let's say I have forum A and forum B and I want both A and B to be merged and transferred into forum C.  The script allows me to transfer ONE forum (forum A) into my new forum (forum C) but it doesn't let me do both.  When I try and run the script for the other forum (forum B), phpmyadmin tells me that there is a duplicate row, which I am assuming means that the smf_boards table (was trying to transfer the boards from the old forum (forum B) to the new forum (forum C) ) is already filled.  So phpmyadmin won't let me transfer BOTH forums into the new one.....it will only do one.

My goal is to make it like vBulletin's forum layout.  On the main page, I want to have the MAIN boards.  These boards will lead to my SUB-FORUMS which will contain the regular forum boards, threads, and posts that were from my older forums (forum A and B).  The result will be a complete merge of forum A and B into 1 big forum C.

What the forum link tree would look like:

Sparkonline Forums (forum C - Main board) -> FiestaHQ Forum (forum A - Sub-forum board) -> (FiestaHQ Forum Section) -> (FiestaHQ Forum Thread)

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
