RSS Feed Question

Hi Guys,

I saw this topic but i got a question:

Is there a way to in some forum get only the new topic updates? Like: Get only the topic and is message (the 1rst message/topic) and dont get the topic awnsers?

Why do you want to do this? Your reason will change what your best solution is .

If you're trying to use the RSS to display latest topics on your site you'd be better off using SSI. See SSI Readme

Otherwise you'll have to just hide the messages with you RSS feed viewer or edit the SMF code to remove the message output.

There is the "Selling/Buying" part of the forum that I just want the Topic+1rst message. "Anoucements" - Only need to see the anouncement (dont need the replys) and other foruns.
