JFusion 1.0.7a Alpha is out, and with it comes expansion!

We are making this release of JFusion 1.0.7a Alpha the mark of change for this extension. Not only has the code gone through extensive reworking, resulting in multiple improvements, brand new features and still a lot more to come, but JFusion is also changing internally. We would like to establish a dedicated and trustworthy team of core developers for the future of JFusion. We need developers who are prepared to donate free, their time and abilities, in order to keep up with the progress of JFusion and the related software packages.

Plug-in Developers - 0/6

Though more might be needed in the future, right now we are looking for six (6) dedicated developers to handle one plug-in each. The software listed in the requirements list below are considered to be of the highest priority in order for JFusion to gain as much recognition as possible and wider funcitionality as well.

Requirements:

  • Mature, level-headed, responsible person that is easy going
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with privileged or sensitive information.
  • Adept PHP developer, preferrably with extensive Java Script experience.
  • Strong understanding of Joomla! 1.5.x and SMF 1.1.x & 2.0.
* Magento (1.0.x) and Moodle (1.9.x) will also be supported, but a developer for these is already on board.

Common Pluses:

  • Organized and detail oriented where and when necessary.
  • Possesses commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve routine or complicated problems effectively.
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects and requirements of modern web development.
  • High involvement with one or more online communities of any sort.

Let the testing commence!

No official group for testers has been put together, but we do have plans to implement such an idea in the near future. Right now we would like to see as many people as possible install the JFusion components and add-ons and using its many functionalities pushing it to its limits looking for bugs and reporting them to us to be rectified as quickly as possible.

Feature and support requests, development discussion and general discussion should all take place on our forum.
Bugs and other critical issues however, should be immediately directed to our issue tracker.
