Link to the theme

Clean, dark, modern multicolor theme with a choice of eight colours.
Colour change bars are at the right side of the header and light up on hover.

This theme has css-based drop menus that work in all browsers. Child boards have their own on and off gifs and several templates have been heavily customised for a cleaner, more up to date look.

This theme comes with css and a member block image to support the Dynamic Memberlist mod. All that is required is to install the mod to the SMF default theme. No edits are required to this theme.
The theme zip also contains alternative Display.template.php and css/forum.css files to support the WYSIWYG Quick Reply mod. Substitute these files for the standard ones if you wish to install that mod. Read the readme files in the zip too. Kthnx.

This theme is designed to use avatars up to 80px high. Bigger avs are possible but will not display fully unless minor edits are made.

This theme is only for SMF 2.0 RC1. PSD files for all the logos are available on the download page.

ETA: If anyone wants the changer bars to change variants permanently (ie: not session-dependent) and without changing the page you are viewing the relevant code is linked from this post.

ETA: If anyone who wishes to use this theme is planning on altering the copyright please read this. Thank you.

The 1.1.x version of this theme has been removed and is no longer available for download.

Thanks guys. I look at a theme and think it'd look good in another colour, then while I'm changing the colours I think of other stuff. I must stop doing that. ;D

Hoochie Coochie Man

Did you solve the IE6 problem of drop-down menu?

Well I was going to take a look at it but I decided that what with everything else there is to do why waste my time pandering to people who want to use retarded browsers? I mean there are far more interesting coding exercises and IE6 is on the way out anyway. According to W3 it only has 30% of the global stats and is dropping rapidly.

I remember talking about this with Bloc in a thread a while back. His attitude is that if a theme isn't broken in IE6 then it doesn't matter if it's missing a few frills. I'm ok with that.

By the way I messed with your code a bit. Dunno if you grabbed the theme but if you're curious I'll shoot you the css and index.template.

Hi,
First of all thanks for this great theme :)

I have a problem though with the drop-down menu when I change language from English to Polish (and I want it to be Polish obviously)

You can see the problem on my forum: hxxp:dreamlords.ovh.org [nonactive]
When you move your mouse over Profil (Profile) or Użytkownicy (Members) there's nothing there :/ Also there is an empty box between them, which should say "Messages".

What must I do to make it work?

P.S. Under English everything works fine.

Language strings. The theme has custom ones rather than only using standard SMF language strings. What this means is that no text will show unless you do some editing. Probably the best way out of it is to make a languages/ThemeStrings.polish.php file and just copy the format of the english file to get whatever text you want displayed.

ETA: This is also the cause of the missing text links in the info centre at the bottom of the theme. Unfortunately I can't do the translation for you as I don't speak or read Polish.

Przemek84

Ok... thanks a lot.

I have translated it into polish and it works great. If need polish translation please write me your e-mail in PM and I'll send it to you.

Antechinus

Well how about just attaching the file to your post, then I'll grab it and add it to the OP. I can do the same with any other translations people do. That way anyone can find them easily if they need them. ;)

Somehow I don't see attach-option avilable :/

Here is a rapidshare link to the file: hxxp:rapidshare.com/files/147247522/ThemeStrings.polish-utf8.php.html [nonactive]

Importantly, I have translated only the things that were causing problems, the rest seems to be interpreted quite well by default. Remember that this is polish-utf8 version.
