How to enable ARABIC and PERSIAN language along with English?

Hi there,

By default my smf forum is in English and its okay with general members and admins.

For Baluchi writing (Script is same as Persian/Arabic) most of the members copy their contents from Unicode support word processor to the forum post.

Now most of the members wants to write in ARABIC/PERSIAN too so that they can directly type their Baluchi text within post instead of copying from somewhere else.

I m running SMF VERSION 1.1.6,  Dilber MC Theme

Your best option would be to convert the database to UTF-8 and then use UTF-8 language files. See UTF-8 Readme for instructions.

The database is already in UTF-8 and its okay with reading/pasting arabic/urud/persian/baluchi text

Member wants to write Directly in ARABIC scripts means they want a button they can switch from Arabic to English or English to Arabic.

That's beyond our control. They will need to change the keyboard settings in Windows to do that.
